We are looking for a Full-time Receptionist to join our busy Administration team. Your fulltime hours will be worked over a 4.5 day week from Tuesday to Saturday, so you will enjoy a 2.5 day weekend each week!

Our ideal applicant is a ‘people person’ with a vibrant personality who loves to provide exceptional customer service. We are seeking someone who is enthusiastic, friendly, and keen to learn! We will provide full training to the successful applicant. 

Your duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Making and receiving phone calls

  • Scheduling of clients using our practice management software (Splose)

  • Greeting clients

  • Taking payments/invoicing

  • Reconciling payments (NDIS, Medicare, private).

  • Data entry

  • Ensuring all client files are up to date

  • Running errands

  • Sorting and sending mail

  • Filing

  • Supporting therapists with admin tasks

  • Email correspondence

  • Liaising with external organisations e.g. (clients, suppliers, health professionals, NDIS support coordinators/plan managers, health funds etc.)

  • Printing and scanning

  • General office duties

  • Participating in team activities and events

Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in an allied health reception role (ideal)

  • Experience working in the NDIS space (ideal)

  • Customer service experience

  • Proficient in Microsoft office

  • Experience using practice management software (ideal)

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Friendly and helpful!

The successful candidate will have:

  • NDIS Worker Check (or be eligible for one)

  • Working with Children Check (or be eligible for one)

  • National Police Check 

  • Strong customer service skills

  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)

  • Attention to detail

  • A passion for working in healthcare 

We are looking for a passionate and outgoing person with great initiative. Ideally you will have experience working as a receptionist in an allied health clinic, however we can provide full training so encourage anyone with a strong customer service background to apply.
