Home Modifications

Our Occupational Therapists are trained in assessing your home environment to make sure it is accessible, safe and functional.

A comprehensive home assessment is completed, and a range of solutions and recommendations are discussed with you and your family. Our therapists will complete a comprehensive report with detailed drawings that you can use for submissions to the NDIS, Department of Housing or other agencies.

Occupational therapists can also arrange onsite consultations with a qualified and registered builder and subsequent quotes based on the drawings and recommendations.

All recommendations and drawings are in line with all relevant Australian building standards.

Examples of home modifications include:

  • Full home modification extensions

  • Bathroom modifications (removal of bath, accessible taps etc.)

  • Accessible kitchens

  • Ramps

  • Grab rails
